You know the future and the past,
The present you alone ordain.
Your knowledge is so deep and vast
All things to You are clear and plain.
You know Yourself, eternal God,
You know Your thoughts, Your plan, Your will,
You know the worlds you spread abroad,
Your knowledge gives You perfect skill.
You know my Name, You know my way,
You know my hairs and count them all.
You know my needs for every day,
You know my wants before I call.
You know what’s in each future day,
You know my struggles and my fears,
You know the things I think and say –
Your knowledge in Your care appears.
You know all things, and so I rest
In Your great knowledge and believe
That You ordain the very best
As all my days in love You weave.
