O Lord, upon Your altar
I lay my life, my all –
Come down with holy fire,
Upon my offering fall.
Without You I am nothing,
Your strength alone can bring
Through this unworthy servant
True glory to my King.
I ask, I plead, dear Savior,
Revive Your work in me
And use me as is fitting –
