By faith, dear Lord, I have obeyed,
I took the path which You prepared;
You gave the strength for which I prayed
And showed me how for me You’ve cared.
Now, Lord, I ask that you would do
The work which only is Your own;
I leave it willingly to You
Because Your faithfulness I’ve known.
So while You do Your work, dear Lord,
I’ll praise Your Name for what You’ve done,
And trust the promise of Your Word
That You’ll complete what You’ve begun.
