This Is My God
A powerful creator
Who spread the nighttime stars
A kind and loving Savior
Who crushed death’s mighty bars
A high, transcendent Ruler
Who governs earth and heav’n
A patient, gracious Helper
Whose strength to me is giv’n
A great, eternal Spirit
Whose glory can’t be seen
A humble, lowly God-man
Who died to make me clean
A holy, righteous Sovereign
Whose glory fills the earth
A tender, loving Father
Who gave me second birth
A God who built the mountains
Yet guides me day by day
A God who knows no limits
Yet hears me when I pray
This is my God – Jehovah –
The King of endless days
The One I love and worship
