The Lord of Love and Righteousness
The Lamb of God made sin for us
Has risen up in righteousness
No more to die, no more to be
Made low in such humility.
Exalted high at God’s own side,
By saints and angels glorified,
In glory seated on the throne
Which He may rightly call His own.
The Lord of all took flesh and died,
He rose again now magnified –
The One who saves, the One who gives
The endless life which now He lives.
Come praise His works, exalt His Name
And spread abroad His worthy fame,
For He who died to conquer sin
Now tells the world to enter in.
So sing and shout with hymns of praise
And spread the news through endless days,
For He alone can save and bless –
The Lord of love and righteous.
