The God I love is faithful
Now as He always was;
It is His very nature
And shows in all He does.
The God I trust is faithful,
And so His Word is too;
Each word and every promise
Will stand the ages through.
The God I serve is faithful,
He keeps me day by day;
He gives me strength and purpose,
And hears me when I pray.
The Lord my God is faithful –
He cannot lie or fail;
My hope is in His promise
That Jesus will prevail.
