I do not know what it may cost
To serve my God and Lord,
But I will seek to win the lost
Till every soul has heard.
I do not know what I may face
If I am true to Christ,
But I’m resolved to live by grace –
My life is sacrificed.
I do not know what life may hold
When I stand firm for right,
But I believe what I am told –
He’ll be my strength and light.
I do not know what tests may come
Or how He’ll see me through,
But faith sees those who’ve overcome
And presses on anew.
I do not know what lies ahead
For those who know Christ’s love,
But I am sure of what He’s said –
It’s worth it all above.
