In weakness God’s strength is made perfect,
In sorrow His joy is complete,
In heartbreak His love is unfailing,
In darkness His presence is sweet.
His promises stand to great pressure,
His grace has no point where it fails,
His kindness discreetly is working
In all of life’s valleys and gales.
Lord, thank you for mercy so boundless,
For love deeper far than the sea,
For hope and new life everlasting,
For caring and thinking of me.
