Doing What I Know
Lord, help me do the things I know
To live like Jesus would –
The things You teach me in Your Word
Are holy, right, and good.
I want to build my life each day
On solid rock, not sand,
So when life’s troubles come like storms
My faith will firmly stand.
Your Word reveals what I should change –
A mirror for my heart;
I’ll stop and fix the things I see
And do the work You start.
I won’t just hear the things You say,
I’ll live them day by day;
Please help me do the things I know,
And bless me, Lord, I pray.
