For grace and answered prayer
For favor, help, and blessings
For tender love and care
For guidance and protection
For working out Your will
For peace and sweet assurance
For strength that You instill
For fellowship and friendship
For hope and daily light
For need and wise provision
For songs to cheer the night

Put off the old, put on the new,
The call is ringing clear,
A fresh, new start is on the way
To greet the dawning year.
The past behind, the future bright,
We’re pressing toward the prize –
Eternal life’s the worthy goal
On which we fix our eyes.
The day to come is full of hope
For those who look ahead;
Keep on the path and don’t look back
As step by step we’re led.

Whatever lies ahead this year
I face with faith instead of fear
For God my Shepherd guides my way
And walks beside me day by day.
Whatever blessings bring delight
Will be reflections of God’s light,
And I’ll rejoice and look for ways
To lift my heart in thankful praise.

Whatever billows o’er me roll,
I’ll trust God’s grace will see me through
With strength to cling to what is true.

You’ve done for me this year,

At grace so real and dear.

You ordered just for me,
And only You are able, Lord,
To work so perfectly.
Though words can’t say the thanks I owe,

And by my actions seek to show
