I Can Hardly Wait

I Can Hardly Wait

I only see a little way
Beyond the veil of tears
To where my Savior waits for me
Beyond these fleeting years.

But what it see is quite enough –
It makes me long to go
To where my Lord has made a home
Where joys forever flow.

The brightest things and loveliest
That grace this world today
Are but a glimpse of better things
That wait beyond the way.

The Break of Day

The Break of Day

No pain or disappointment
Will shade that happy place
Where all the Father’s children
Will see our Savior’s face

There in that glad forever
Where day is always bright
We’ll ever praise and serve Him
With honor and delight

When freed from sin’s temptation
We’ll love with heart and soul
The God whose love redeemed us
And made us well and whole

Come Quickly

Come Quickly

Lord, haste the day when Christ will come
To call us all away
In robes of glory pure and white
To realms of endless day.

Return again, Your people wait
Expectant as You said
In service and in watchful prayer
With hope of what’s ahead.

Your gospel news is on the wind,
Your Word is spread abroad,
We’ve gone and called the world to come
To worship You our God.

I Saw the Light of Heaven

I Saw the Light of Heaven

I saw the light of heaven
As Jesus took my hand
And gently came and brought me
To heaven’s perfect land.

He led me ‘cross the Jordan
Then through the pearly gates:
“Now welcome home, my daughter,
Come see what joy awaits!”

“Well done” is what He told me
And gave a radiant crown;
He’d seen my love and worship
And wrote my service down.

Well Done, My Child, Well Done

Well Done, My Child, Well Done

I cannot see the finish line
That’s somewhere up ahead –
The homestretch may be very close
Or miles away instead.
However far may lie between
That mark and where I run,
These words are what I long to hear
The day my race is done:

“Well done, my child, you finished well,
The crown of life you won.
You fought the fight, you ran the race,
Well done, my child, well done!”
