All We Need
When Pharoah’s heart was hardened
Against the Lord’s command,
He made the labor harder
Of those who built his land.
He told the weary Hebrews
That they must gather straw;
“Go find your own,” he told them
And made his hatred law.
Unlike the wicked Pharoah,
God gives His children tasks
And then provides materials
For anything He asks.
He gives the strength that’s needed,
The grace to make it through;
Provides for each assignment
And shows us what to do.
Lord, thank You for Your kindness
Providing all we need,
And giving us such mercy
In all that You’ve decreed.
Please help us serve with gladness
And praise You day by day
For guiding and providing
In such a gracious way.

Thankyou for this beautiful reminder of God’s promises to those who put their trust in him and walk by faith. You are truly a blessing.
You’re so kind. The Lord’s promises are such a gift. I’m so thankful we can always count on Him!
Thank you for today’s uplifting words and devotional. Sometimes, we get weary and downtrodden by the heavy burdens we think we need to carry alone. We forget that there was ONLY ONE SET OF FOOTPRINTS IN THE SAND. JESUS said, Come to me those of you who downtrodden and I will give you rest”. I facilitate a women’s Bible Study group for women 55+ on Thursday mornings and I see the burdens these wonderful Christian women have. I see the transformation when we pray over them and they recommit to giving it “all” Jesus.
