I look for a country whose Maker is God
Where sin with its fellows forever is banned;
I look for a city whose streets are pure gold
Where every foundation by Jesus was planned.
I look for a kingdom whose Ruler is Christ
Where He is the sovereign and all love His throne;
I look for a promise whose Keeper sleeps not
Where He will give blessings to each of His own.
