Where does Christ fit into your life?

”Where does Christ fit into my life?” “Is He a part of all I do?” “Do I daily acknowledge all with which he blesses me?” “Do I exercise strong faith in Him?” “Looking at my motives, do I, at times, put other things before Him?” This Christmas season, these are some of the questions I have been asking myself while contemplating my relationship with my Savior.

C.S. Lewis penned: “Look for Christ and you will find Him. And with Him, everything else.” The wisdom within these few words points to a life centered in Christ. And through a relationship with Him, all other blessings will flow.

Ezra Taft Benson taught this illuminating truth: “When we put God first, all other things fall into their proper place or drop out of our lives.” What a liberating statement!  When we live a Christ-centered life it keeps everything else in balance and the unimportant is left behind.

I challenge you, this Christmas season, to spend some time in introspection regarding your relationship with Jesus Christ. Gifts, festivities and lights are wonderful, but most important is the reason behind them all—He who is the light of the world!  Merry Christmas!
